LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM; 30 JULY 2026 – NME (nme.com), the globally renowned music and pop culture brand, today launches its latest print issue featuring South Korean artist Yves on the cover.

One of K-pop’s most compelling creative voices, Yves is entering a new chapter defined by reinvention and creative freedom. In an intimate conversation with NME, she discusses why she’s more interested in possibility than perfection.

Rather than chasing a finished version of herself, Yves embraces constant evolution. As she puts it, “There’s still so much that I want to show and that I’m not completely the artist or person I want to be just yet.”

The July/August 2026 issue captures the artists, ideas and conversations shaping music and culture today. Paul McCartney reflects on a remarkable career, while rising talents Any Young Mechanic and RaiNao sit alongside legendary songwriter Linda Perry. Readers can also revisit NME’s partnership with The Great Escape through exclusive photography from the NME Stage and our packed-out opening party headlined by viral math-rock outfit Angine de Poitrine. Beyond music, the issue includes conversations with The Pitt actor Gerran Howell and Academy Award-winning filmmaker Steven Soderbergh, alongside reviews of new releases from Olivia Rodrigo, Fakemink and Kneecap, plus films Disclosure Day and Obsession. And last but not least, the iconic NME classic crossword is back in print for the first time since the magazine’s original weekly era.

This edition of NME Magazine is released as a bundle with the latest issue of MusicTech Magazine, featuring live-coding artist DJ_Dave on the cover. Exploring the creative possibilities of embracing imperfection and experimentation, DJ_Dave tells MusicTech: “There is so much room for improvisation. The random outputs, the mistakes – I’ve always embraced that.”

NME Magazine is available now at https://www.nme.com/magazine. Superfans signed up to the NME Magazine mailing list are eligible for queue-jump access before each drop.
