LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM; 29 JANUARY 2026 – Guitar.com (guitar.com), the destination for all things guitar, today launches the first 2026 issue of Guitar.com Magazine, featuring Grammy-winning musician, composer, and producer Jacob Collier on the cover for its January/February 2026 issue, Collier opens up about the guitar’s pivotal role in to Guitar.com in his creative process.
The virtuosic multi-instrumentalist opens up on his new guitar-focused chapter, which sees him flesh out his own vision of the instrument through his own signature five-string guitars. Embracing a philosophy of raw creativity over technical perfection, he says: “I’m a huge advocate for scrappiness in music… I’m not interested in people imitating me. I would much rather people be themselves.”
Guitar.com’s first print issue of 2026 dives further into the cutting-edge of guitar with the first in-depth profile of Circle Guitar, the “guitar of the future” backed by an elite roster of innovative players including Muse’s Matt Bellamy and Radiohead’s Ed O’Brien. Readers will also find interviews with indie-rock breakout stars The Last Dinner Party and legendary activist-guitarist Tom Morello. To help players kickstart 2026, the magazine also includes a curated buyer’s guide of starter instruments for anyone who’s made a New Year’s resolution to learn guitar.
Guitar.com Magazine is available exclusively at nme.com/magazine, alternating bimonthly releases with fellow NME Networks publication MusicTech. Superfans signed up to the Guitar.com Magazine mailing list are eligible for queue-jump access before each drop.
The bundle also includes the newest edition of NME Magazine, featuring Rose Gray on the cover. After a huge year in 2025, the British dance pop artist reflects on her journey toward success, artistic camaraderie in pop music’s inner circles and what new music she’s making: “I’m definitely growing and experimenting, maybe adding some guitars.”
